This wealthy, eccentric heiress left an indelible mark on the history of Biarritz; indeed, the beach facing her former estate bears her nickname to this day: La Milady. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Milady break features a mixed sand and rock bottom and works best at mid-tide with an East or South-Easterly wind. As it is not the easiest spot on the coast to surf, we recommend that beginners visit at low tide, while experienced surfers should aim for mid-tide.
