Marty was first and foremost the nickname given to me by my family and foreign friends, before becoming the community space it is today. After my studies and a year in Australia, I arrived on the Basque Coast in 2008 with dreams of an endless summer.

How does it work?

Looking for a good surfboard to rent in Biarritz?

To book your surf gear online and have it delivered (for free) to your home, hotel, or the beach, it couldn’t be easier. Below you’ll find the 4 steps to rent your board and make the most of the magnificent waves of the Basque Country and the Landes.

If you have any questions (board choice, delivery, surf spots, etc.), don’t hesitate to send us an email, call us, or contact us via text or WhatsApp.

We can answer your questions and advise you on boards, spots, and more…

1.

Choose your surf gear

Choose your surf equipment from our selection of boards (shortboard, fish, mini malibu, longboard, etc.), wetsuits (shorty, 3/2 and 4/3 full suits), and accessories (car racks, locks, booties, wax, etc.)

2.

Confirm your order online

Add everything to your cart and fill in the delivery details (dates, time, address, phone number). Confirm your payment via credit card, PayPal, or cash on delivery.

3.

We deliver the board to you

We will contact you by message the day before to confirm the delivery time and address. Upon delivery, we’ll take the time to give you some tips on which spots to go surfing.

4.

We pick up the board from you

Once you’ve enjoyed the waves and your rental is over, send us a message the day before your last day to arrange the location and time for equipment pickup.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Une semaine de location au top avec Marty à Biarritz ! Un vrai passionné, hyper sympa et surtout ultra arrangeant. Il nous a même livré les planches directement, ce qui nous a vraiment simplifié la vie. Du matériel adapté, de bons conseils, de la disponibilité et surtout un super contact du début à la fin. On sent qu’il cherche vraiment à faire plaisir et à ce que tout se passe bien. Je recommande les yeux fermés ! Si vous cherchez à louer des planches à Biarritz, allez voir Marty. On reviendra sans hésiter 🏄‍♂️🤙

Un coup de fil la veille et nous avons réservé 10 vélos mécaniques pour une balade en demi-journée. Certains ont déraillé mais ça peu arriver. Prendre un torchon au cas où pour s'essuyer. Lieu très accessible, facile d'accès. Casques prêtés gratuitement. Je recommande

Marty was sensational! Sitting at the beach having lunch and the swell turned on and after calling Marty I had a surfboard in my hands in 20 minutes. And to my further surprise the board was a high performance fish similar to what I surf at home and included brand new firewire velox quad fins, boardbag and leash. Pick up was even more seamless with Marty coming to my door and grabbing the board on my final evening in Biarritz after another fun day of surf. Highly recommend Marty Surf Shop for all your surf needs in the Biarritz area. And don’t stop there. – give Marty a shout if you need e-bikes too!

Better call and ask instead of booking online
Great little store. However, the board I reserved online was gone upon arrival, and delivery was not free and included as advertised (too short of a notice). The board I got was missing a piece of the tailpad, and the screws were slightly loose. On the bright side, the guy at the counter was very friendly and tried to accommodate my needs.
